The luminous blue steel panels that blanket the exterior of the Contemporary Jewish Museum inspired the design of the CJM Shawl. Renowned architect Daniel Libeskind based the form of the building on the Hebrew phrase, "L'Chaim" (To Life). The panels, which shift in color depending on the time of day, the weather, and the viewer's position, create a dynamic "living" surface and reflect the architect's inspiration. Designed by Kim Baker of Gouda Design. Woven cashmere and silk. Dimensions: 28" x 78".
